New windows and doors improve comfort, cut energy bills and add long-term value to your home. Westlight Windows San Jose pairs proven product lines with our own installing crews for lasting performance - and a price we put in writing.
Choose your installer
The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.
Select the right products
Compare styles, materials and glass packages side by side until the fit is right for your rooms, your budget and your goals. The product-line comparison below is the place to start.
Prepare your home for install
Before install day we walk you through a short checklist - furniture pulled back, treatments down, a clear path to each opening - so install day is watch-it-happen, not scramble.

Meet the San Jose Team Behind Westlight Windows San Jose
We’re an independently owned and operated Kingswell location, and the crew you’ll see on a San Jose job site has been chosen for a specific reason: they know this city’s housing stock, its microclimates, and the way a 1960s Eichler handles differently than a 1990s Almaden Valley track home. Between them, our installers have replaced windows in nearly every San Jose neighborhood you can name, from Rose Garden to Evergreen to Willow Glen. They’re background-checked, uniformed, and they show up on time because the Kingswell Guarantee demands it. Here’s who you’ll meet.
Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been installing windows and doors in the South Bay for 14 years, the last seven of them with Westlight. He’s the guy who walks a house first, checks the rough openings, and tells you honestly whether your 1970s aluminum slider “has had a good run” or still has a few years left. Marcus holds certifications in PGT and CGI impact-rated installation, which matters when you’re putting hurricane-grade windows into a Willow Glen bungalow that’s never had them. He keeps a notebook in his truck with window measurements from jobs he did a decade ago, mostly because he likes seeing how long his work holds up. Off the clock, he rebuilds vintage Honda motorcycles in his garage.
Elena R. – Senior Installer
Elena has been with Westlight since 2015 and has led more than 400 window replacement jobs across San Jose, Campbell, and Los Gatos. Her specialty is retrofit work on older homes, the kind where the original framing has settled and nothing is perfectly square. She’s certified on ECO Window Systems and Therma-Tru door installation, and she’s often the one training newer crew members on proper flashing and sealing technique. Elena grew up in the East Bay and swears by San Jose’s dry summer heat as the best weather for exterior work. She keeps a photo on her phone of every finished job, not for marketing, but because she likes comparing before and after.
Derek P. – Service Coordinator
Derek is the voice you’ll most likely hear when you call (669) 333-7786. He joined Westlight in 2019 after years in construction dispatch, and he’s the one who schedules your written estimate, sets the arrival window, and calls ahead the day before to confirm. Derek knows the eight manufacturer lines we carry – PGT, CGI, CWS, ES Windows, ECO Window Systems, Mr-Glass, Therma-Tru, and ViewLux – well enough to match a product to a complaint before a technician ever arrives. He’s a San Jose native, went to Leigh High, and still gets annoyed when people confuse the Rose Garden neighborhood with the actual municipal rose garden. His desk is covered in sticky notes, but his scheduling is never late.
Javi M. – Apprentice Installer
Javi is our newest full-time team member, apprenticing under Elena and Marcus since 2023. He came to us from a residential framing crew, so he understands load paths and rough openings better than most people his age. Javi is currently working toward his PGT installation certification and handles a lot of the detail work: interior trim, caulk lines, final hardware adjustments. He’s from the Alum Rock area and takes a lot of pride in working in the same neighborhoods where he grew up. On job sites, he’s the one who triple-checks the cleanup checklist before anyone loads the truck, because he knows the Kingswell standard is not optional.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Westlight location in the Kingswell network operates on the same five promises, what we call The Kingswell Way: say the price before the work, show up in the window we gave, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. The San Jose crew doesn’t get to pick and choose which of those applies on a given Tuesday. A window replacement in Berryessa gets the same written price, the same arrival discipline, the same cleanup, and the same written guarantee as a door installation in West San Jose. If something isn’t right within the guarantee period, we come back and fix it at no charge. That’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and every member of this team has signed on to uphold it. Owen Satterfield, the owner, puts it plainly: we’re only as good as the last job we walked away from, and nobody here wants to be remembered for a sloppy one.
That name, Westlight, is the late-afternoon sun that pours through a good window. Bright, warm, and worth doing right. That’s the standard.
